happy#172 – time is changing

Is my hair getting grey because time is passing or is time passing because my hair is turning grey.

What is time anyway? How would you measure time if nothing was moving. Sun not going up and down, your heart not beating, water not flowing, the clock not ticking or changing digits.
There wouldn’t be any chance that you can measure how time passed since you thought about the last time. Now picture that whole scenery slightly bigger.
Something like: Nothing moves! Ever! Like in space where there is nothing. A place even without light.
How do you measure time there.

This idea shows that the concept of time only works if things are moving and may it be energy. It was there, now it’s here and soon it will be somewhere else. And something is always moving. If you take a picture and capture that moment nothing is moving… well and no time is passing because you captured a moment.
But, isnt’t life always now and isn’t now always the moment? Does that mean now is timeless?

happy#171 – embrace luxury

I love luxury.
That’s why I chose to live without it most of the time. Sounds strange, but makes sense when you think about it. What is luxury after all. Per definition it is something that you don’t have day in and day out.
Something unsusual, something that feels special when you have it.
The thing about us humans is, that we can get used to almost everything. As our frontal cortex (the part of our brain that is responsible for consciousness) is only capable of doin so many things it outsources.
Over 99,99% of al the information that our bodies deal with is handled on an automated basis. 
Therefor we can teach our body almost anything to deal with on an automated basis. We get used to it.
That is the point about luxury. It only feels luxurious/special as long as we don’t have it. As soon as we do, we get used to it and take it for granted. On our search for luxury we develop the next craving which is even harder to achieve than the last. Life becomes more difficult and we have more to lose than before.
It becomes harder to enjoy what we have (it became mandatory) and so much easier to worry (more to lose).
By giving up luxury and bringing yourself more often in situation where you need to depend on the basics can make you a more appreciative person and enjoy life more.

Several reasons let to this podcast episode about the most basic and precious thing in our life: health.

  • a friend who thought he had a stroke
  • an accident of a 4 year old
  • a coachee of my age with a complicated cancer treatment
  • an avalanche and an organ transplant.

Multiple reasons to think about life and how easy it might be lost. All other aspects and goals in life become secondary, compared to health.
You can’t achieve anything once you are gone and one day you will.

happy#169 – simplifying the simplicity of happiness

As I had new ideas in the past, I kept adding them to my portfolio.
While I had a rule with my material possessions: For each item that I added to my life, I needed to let go of two, I already owned.
At the same time I kept adding ideas to my professional life.
When I started to reconciliate websites and podcasts by the end of last year, I realized that I still had created way too many double structures over the last years.
More than that, had I reached a point where they were not motivating anymore but held me back. They started to cause confusion because I had no clear structure anymore. When I sad down to write an article I couldn’t focus as easy as I wished I could. That’s the thing about clutter, be it material or mental: It starts holding you back.
The moment something is not adding value to your life it might be time to let go.

So I did.

I asked myself what it is that I am doing, what is the main message, that I want to spread, what do all my projects have in common…
Quickly it became very clear with that changed approach, that everything I do can be summed up by the concept of the simplicity of happiness. (Maybe you could have guessed that, right?)
So I ditched everything else and combined it under the very same logo/brand/website:

happy#168 – boot, stuff you don‘t need

I have been on the road again and among others I visited the Düsseldorf boatshow called boot.

I had no specific idea about the boatshow before I went there, which left me completely open minded.Nevertheless I was surprised on how much plastic crap is available there. Not much about repair or DIY. Not really much about sailing either. Only very few smaller sailing boats at all and a lot of huge plastic hull with not so nice interior.

All of this left me thinking about stuff you need. Minimalism and simplicity is not only about getting rid of things you don‘t need. It is also about deciding what you you let into your life in the first place.

happy#167 – one word resolution

Did you have a new years resolution. Come on, not a tiny one?
So how is that one going?
Maybe not so good?
Here I have an idea. In fact, its not my idea, I borrowed it from Mike Mandel. As so often simplifying will help your unconscious to have a clear direction what to aim for. So the resolution consists of one word only.
Most likely that word is some kind of nominalization, a verb that you turn into a noun. Mine for example is „sailing“.
Normally a nominalisation can become a bit of a problem in communication because every person interpretates it different. In this case that’s no problem. It is your word and you are the only one who decides what you fill it with and your unconsciousness already knows.
You’ll include that one word into your morning routine, your decision taking process, your meditation, your prayer, whatever you do to keep yourself focused.
This word will start to give you a clear direction. You will start to take decisions that will clear up the path to living your goal.

happy#166 – who is the fool

Who is the fool, the fool or the fool who follows the fool. I read plenty about people who complain about ignorant people at the top and there are for sure enough of them. To mention a few of them:
– Trump
– Erdogan
– Putin
– Orban
– Maduro
– Bolzanero

Especially with Bolzanero being sworn into office at the beginning of this month I read a couple of articles about the world being doomed by the powerful few.

The few who are in control of the media.
The few who control the 100 companies who produce 50% of the worldwide emissions.
The few who produce the weapons that kill so many.
The few who control most of the money.

But guess what, you can’t take over power by yourself. Power is always something that others give to you. Sounds weird? Well let us look at most of the political figures I mentioned at the top. All of them where elected in a democratic progress. 
You might argue that they mislead the public with desinformation or that they used injustice in the democratic process, but in the end they somehow played by the rules and a major part of the population wanted them as their leader.
If no one wanted them in the first place, they wouldn’t be where they are right now.
Same for the companies. Ok, they make money with what they are doing, BUT 

  • 1. no company takes decisions, its always people behind each decision.
  • 2. If nobody would work for the company, they couldn’t produce and they couldn’t make money. 
  • 3. Furthermore somebody has to buy their products. And once again, it’s the buyers free choice to buy or not to buy.

Same with the weapon industry.
And last but not least we would always have the chance to elect politicians who create laws that would limit those activities. Now I can already hear people complain, that there are no good politician and/or that the ones with good opinion and uncorrupted minds don’t have a chance because they will be discriminated by big bussiness. 
Once again, if a majority would vote different tables would turn. It is up to you and every single one of us. If we won’t have a change in politics or in society it is due to a lack of willingness to change among all of us.
Be the change you want to see in the world.

happy#165 – the concept of reality

Happy new year to you.
Thank you for being a listener over the last year. As you might know, has it been a bit bumpy for me and I am sure that you are able to tell your own story about ups and downs.
Always remember that your ups can be somebody elses downs and vice versa.
Everything depends on the perspective. If you could change perspective things could look different and sometimes exactly that change of perspective is too difficult.
Now it gets really weird.
Even reality depends on perspective, whether you see a chair as a chair, wether you can look rigth through it or don’t see it at all depends on perspective. Even whether you see it as matter or only as energy depends on your perspective.
That means that all the images that you have in your mind are only reflection of the reality and when you want to solve a real problem you are always dealing with your own perspective, your own representation of reality and therefor it doesn’t matter if you deal with the problem or create a metaphor which is often way easier to change.

happy#164 – helping

Last week I talked about accepting help and just after I recorded that, help was offered again and gave me the opportunity to finally move to the new harbor. This left me thinking about help and human interaction in general.

We as human beings and as the human race can not really develop on our own. Some of us might need more contact and others less, but overall we all need contact and help and some point in our life.

We don’t really grow when we are alone. We need to get into contact with the outer world to find jour limits and to expand them. Interaction with other human beings, sharing knowledge and experience is one of the best ways to expand your horizon.

For some of us that is not as easy as for others, especially when financial or cultural boundaries are holding us back. This is where you can take action. You can reach out and help those who can use it most. Unconditional. Just helping because you can (and secretly knowing that it will all come back)

Therefor I founded KIDZ a year ago and I hope you will help me in helping others.

happy#163 – accepting help

I know everything so much better than everybody else… Sometimes it feels like that from my perspective and I know it is not true. It might result from the fact that I am the only one living inside my head. I am the only only who can see life from my perspective and I feel as others are missing something (well… maybe they are missing my perspective).
In my life I combine these feeling with the strong desire for freedom. I want to be able to achieve everything I want on my own without needing permission. I don‘t want to be dependent, but be able to move, act and live without asking anybody about it.
Therefor I have the tendency to not ask for or accept any help.
But… receiving help, being thankful for it and offering help wherever you can will add to you life and is one step towards happiness.

happy#162 – nothing is lost, ever!

I lost something, or at least somebody lost something that was mine which could lead to my first question. What does it mean to be mine or what would I need to do to call something mine.
But that shall be the topic of another episode.
All my German Podcast episodes have been deleted by accident and the Podcast provider does not have any backups. This made me think about win and loss in life and what it actually means if something is not there anymore.
I became ver clear that you just need to look at the atomic or the energetic level to see that nothing is ever lost. It is only transferred to a different level. Nothing is ever gone, it is only somewhere else. That also means that now thought or no person is ever lost. They just don’t exist in the known form anymore.
They transferred into something new. That means in the contrary that every ending is aways the start of a new beginning as well. Whenever you lose something you will gain something else. Keep your eyes open what it might be.

happy#161 – fear

Real man are not fearful, right?
I am not so sure about this. As fear is one the most natural feeling that was guaranteeing the survival of mankind for millenia, it is important to as well have fear, feel fear and even express fear.
It is a sign to us to be careful and cautious about somthing.
Way more important than the feeling itself is what you will do with it. As fear comes from deep inside, from your unconscious mind, it is a feeling that is trying to protect you as your unsconscious always wants your best

Unfortunately it only knows what is best based on what it already knows. That means for you, that every time that you leave your comfort zone fear pops up and tries to warn you of something. Growth only happens, when you leave your comfort zone every once in while and then it is up top you how you go on from there.
For you that means no growth without fear.

I shattered my comfort zone multiple times in the last weeks… but listen yourself.

happy#160 – live forever

Image you were forever alive. Imagine you’d have to live with all the consequences of your actions. For ever?
Now let us bring that one step further. Imagine you were all the same. Whatever you would do to someone or something else you would do to yourself.
Would that influence your actions?

Momentarily I am reading the book: “An End to Upside Down Thinking: Dispelling the Myth That the Brain Produces Consciousness, and the Implications for Everyday Life” by Mark Gober.

He states that the brain is not creating consciousness but that conscioussnes does exist outside of the material body and in fact is creating everything else.

The one theory that most of these thoughts are based on, is that everything that can be proven by science can only be validated by our conscious mind. There is no proof that anything could ever be validated without a conscious mind to validate it.
We can imagine such a scenario and based on our findings now is has to be exactly the same without our conscious mind. sounds logical but is impossible to be proven. One thing we can not explain so far is how consciousness evolved and how it is created. Almost all aspects of life in this physical world can be explained, but not consciousness.
The foundation of our science is the validation by our consciousness.
Consciousness is proclaimed to be caused by us (our brain) but cannot be proven.

Therefor our whole scientific belief system of the physical worls is based on the one thing that cannot be explained by it and yet is generally considered to the cause for exactly that, our conscious mind.

If you look at it this way it can‘t make sense, therefor the explanation of Makr Gober is to turn it around and say: first was consciousness and it created everything else.

We still don‘t know where it comes from but all of a sudden the scientific system makes sense and errors like the difference between the theorie of relativity and quantum mechanics won‘t cause the whole theoretic system to collapse.

Furthermore the supernatural things that occur in life also make sense.

It would indeed mean something more:

It is not us, it is not me, who created my conscious mind which is different from everybody elses. It would mean that there is only one consciousness, that decided to become partially me in this physical (or physical imagined) world, as well as anybody and anything else on earth.

As a consequence of these thoughts my conscious mind or if you will my soul will never die and might come back in a different packing multiple times. You might live with the results of your actions for eternity. Imagine now, the whole physical world and the life within does only have the one reason, to help the universal consciousness grow….

happy#159 – planning vs. intuition

While planning is mostly done in our frontal cortex, the conscious mind, intuition or gutt feeling is more of an unconscious process.
While for a large part of my life I was sure that the more knowledge I have, the better decisions I can take and therefor become a better person, this belief changed over the last years.
I had to learn that although our conscious decisions seem to make so much sense, our unconsious is really in charge.
When conscious mind is in charge of the navigation, the unconscious is the running the boat, being the skipper. As long as we don’t convince the skipper that our navigation is correct, we can calculate as much as we want and will still never change the course.
Therefor it is not so much a question of planning VERSUS intuition but more planning AND intuition.
Make plans and take decisions what to do and then check back with your intuition if this is the right way to go. Be careful, it speaks in a very soft voice and when you hear it trust your gutt. Your unconscious always wants to protect you and will be your strongest supporter if you act accordingly.

I am so lucky and honored that I meet the people I do. While still living in the „Jungfrau Skiing Area“ in Lauterbrunnen in the winter of 2015/16 I decided one day to register for the online class of Mike Mandel & Chris Thompson and it blue my mind. The content was superb and the way that the two where presenting it resonated with me so well that I wanted to train with them personally.
Therefor the first country I traveled to after 10 month in Zanzibar was Canada and I remember freezing my toes of in my sandals in Toronto in May. The training was great and we stayed in contact since then.

Now I am proud to invite you on a nice conversation with Chris with whom I talked about personal experience and lessons on the way to partnering with Mike on the Mike Mandel Hypnosis Academy.

happy#157 – no room for religion?

Even, if everything on earth can be explained through science.
Imagine that one day mankind is able to create life themself. Once we find out how every details of the genes. What if we find out what makes matter start living, giving that initial impuls. Then there will be no room for religion and spirituality left. At least that is what one might guess, right?
I think the opposite is true. The more we can explain, the wider the horizon will become.
The more we know, the more we realize we don’t know (yet).

Once we understand everything on earth the wonder how it got here in the first place will still remain. We will have no clue what was before and what will be after. If there was eternity and space would never end, that would be as hard to grasp as the concept of end of time and space. Which is what our current knowledge tells us.

Taking this concept of the big gang theory will also lead to the understanding that everything in existence used to be energy some trillion years ago. That leads to the conclusion that we are all one. Not only does everything has the same roots, no, everything has been one and the same.
If we have been the same ages ago, aren’t we still the same today. And I am not only talking about men and women, but your worst enemy as well. Even the food we eat and the house we live in has been the same before and who knows will the same again at some time.
Or may it be the same all the time and we don’t see it because it differs in shape?

That concept is way too logical to be ignored and gives a complete new meaning to the saying:

What you do to others, you do to yourself.

happy#156 – gratitude

Do you know the main reason for a growing or a shrinking mindset? Mainly it is a decision that you make. Are you thankful for what you have and do you appreciate everything that you’ll gain in life or are you fearful to loose what you have and are afraid for anything new?
That is the interesting perspective. It often is the same cause that let’s you feel one or the other and it is only in your mind that you change your reaction to it.Gratitude is rooted in love and therefor will trigger positive emotions and thoughts. Those lead to a positive spirit and will help you go through life with much more ease than had you chosen to go for fear and hate.The wonderful thing about it, is that you can choose each time that you feel fear. Just turn it around and be thankful for having what you already have and go on from there. All the positivity in your head. It’s not changing the world around you, but your perspective and therefor changing your world around you!

As so often, it is a choice.

happy#155 – good or bad?

Everything on Earth. No, everything in the Universe only exist in relation to its opposite. Nothing can exist without being what it is not.Does it feel strage to read that? What about this? The text you are reading appears probably in black and can only be seen because it is written or dispalyed on something that is not black. When you hear the podcast you can only hear my voice because it is differentiating to the other noises around you.As these might be easy examples and are quite logical when you think about them, you can extend this concept on eveything else in life.
All that you value and love gets its importance to you olnly from the existance of its opposite. Wouldn‘t you fear or hate the opposite, you would‘t love it as much.
If that last sentence was true, could there be any truly bad in life? Or would eveything bad in your life only exist to give you the possibility to experience its opposite?
May good and bad be only creations of our mind to give things a value in relation to our own life?
If you take one thing out of this? Be careful how you judge, because it is always your own judgement and might not apply to others. Good and bad only exist in relation to the goal you want to achieve.
The are no alternativeless decisions, there are only decisions and keep in mind who it is, you want to be as this determines was is right for you.
It always was and always will be your choice.

happy#154 – don‘t own your children

September 5th is a special day to me. It brought people to my life that made me who I am today and I want to dedicate this episode to them. Almost or temporarily losing these people it draw some conclusions that helped me ever since.
Most important to me was the realization that the closer I was to certain people, the more I expected from them. There have been times in my life that I even expected my loved ones to make up for my own mysery. What I couldn‘t find in my own life, I wanted them to add.
When they couldn‘t provide that, I mean… think about it, how should anybody else be able to create something in your life and therefor in your brain that you couldn‘t even create yourself?
You are the only on who can change anything in your life, because your thoughts, your words and your actions are the only things that you are in control of anyway. Furthermore that conclusion made me realize that I have no right to expect anything from anybody else. Neither am I entitled to make anyone be with me, nor can I own anyone. We are all free people.
Love people while they are around and let them go when they want to. Enjoy each moment as you will lose them sooner or later. Let hate and fear go and make room for love and gratitude. Life will pay back.

happy#153 – age is just a number

I don’t know how old you are, but I guess you are also getting older. Last winter I went on a couple of mountains with my split board and I was so unfit. I thought that I am just not a fit as I used to because I am getting older.But the truth is that there were people way older than me. They were maybe in their 70th and they were fitter that me.This spring and summer I picked up some exercise and well, I am much better in shape than this winter. I don’t feel that worn out anymore… although I am half a year older. I think that age is mainly in your head. The younger you think, the younger you act, the younger you feel.That is the real topic of todays episode. It is all about the story you tell yourself. It is about feeling the joy of a child and maintain that feeling and the positive story for all your life.

happy#152 – straight to the top, or not?

Chasing dreams and achieving goals is about knowing the straight way right? Without distraction and with a clear focus directly towards your personal summit?

Well, knowing where you want to go is definitely a plus, but you might face obstacles or barriers that are impossible to overcome.

There is no way to fight the wind when you’re on a sailing boat. It might be much smarter to adjust your course and trim the sails. What appears to be the wrong course might actually be the only way to reach your destination.What is true for trekking, hiking, climbing or sailing might have its expression in business or personal life as well.In case you struggle, you can take a step back and have a look at the broader picture to find out if there might be an easier route with a slightly different angle or approach.

happy#151 – no feedback, no development

We can’t learn, when we receive no feedback. We will at least never find out if our progress is going in the desired direction.We will loose contact to the base. Therefor is it so important to act, to actually do something and get our work and actions out there. Then we will receive feedback upon which we can react. Everything is connected and action causes a reaction and if we don’t listen to the feedback we won’t know which reaction we are provoking in the world.
In case you are interested in making the world a better place as I am, you might want to ask for feedback. Especially the feedback that you don’t like. The things that go wrong, the things where you face obstacles and where people don’t like what you are doing.
Then listen to it and take it as a hint what to do better in the future. Always compare it to the one you want to be. Does it bring you closer or further apart. And then act accordingly.

My journey to declutter started in 2012. I reached a point where I didn’t thrive for more. At least not for more possessions. I wanted to have more joy, more laughter and more contentment.
I was looking for more meaning in my life. Through different blogs and writers I ended up with a person who had just taken a phenomenal decision and was traveling the world while writing: Colin Wright and his blog: Exile Lifestyle.Colin was talking about friends who called themselves “the minimalists“.
Yes, that’s right, those minimalist whom I referring to so often. I kept following all three of them throughout the last years and they have been a major influence for my own way.
By now, Colin is producing one of the best curated podcasts out there: Let’s Know Things. One of the few podcast, where I listen to each episode. Today I am thrilled to talk to Colin about life, minimalism and a vision for life.

happy#149 – letting go

Sometimes you need to let go in order to achieve something new. As odd as it seems, first look for something to give up…
So often it is mainly the distraction, the lack of focus that gets in our way of achieving something.
The day has 24 hours, that‘s it. The attention span lasts only so and so long. There are new studies that the average attention span keeps decreasing and went in 2018 is low as 8 seconds. And then… the next piece of information (or misinformation) catches our attention. Furthermore it is a matter of fact that the conscious brain can only do one thing at a time. Some people get quite good in switching back and for between two topics within miliseconds. Still they will never be as good and as effective as if they did one after another and paying full concentration to each one.
Letting go of what distracts you, of what annoys you, of what is just clutter, mental and physical gives you an enormous potential to achieve even more of what you are thriving for.
Are you looking for more joy, more laughter, more satisfaction and more happiness?
Find some of the opposites in your life and let them go.

happy#148 – how to grow confidence

I am faced every once in a while with the question wether I am not afraid to do some of the stuff that I am doing. And well… yes I am. Life is not about being afraid or not. It is much more about finding a way to do it nevertheless. Afterall, let’s face it. I don’t do anything special at all. It has all been done by numerous people before are are being done simultaneously. It is just special to me because I have never done it before.
As soon as you are in the situation where you are afraid, the fact that others have done it before, is nothing that will help you a lot though. It is and remains your life and your fear. Comparing yourself to others day in day out is one of the most efficient ways to get frustrated anyway.
If you want to thrive in life, compare yourself to yourself a day, a week or a year ago.
The difference between failure and success, whatever it will mean to you, is wether you are able to face your own insecurities and fears and find a way around or to overcome them.
If you want to turn a dream into a goal and want to start working on it do the following steps:
  1. Find a goal that is congruent with mind, body, soul!
  2. Educate yourself about it.
  3. Start implementing the new learnings. (maybe on similar projects where you need the same resources)
  4. Be patient and take mistakes as feedback.
  5. Keep learning all the way.
  6. Start before you think you are ready!

I am going for my dreams for quite a while now and new dreams keep showing up in my life, making the old ones obsolete. It seems as if I can´t get tired of something new and that is just the way that I am motivated.
How are you?
What motivates you most and are you sure, that these are your own desires or are you trying to please someone externally.
Make sure your dreams are your own and that they meet the underlying cause. Match your motivation with your values and your beliefsystem. Create a smart goal for your unconscious mind to be your guidance towards living the life you love.

happy#145 – sailing uma, don’t buy a couch

I am so thrilled to be able to present you an inspiring young couple: Kika and Dan. They decided to not buy a couch and settle down after graduation, but instead invest all they had into an old sailing boat that still had to be renovated before they could even launch it into the water.
What amazes me most about the two is not, that they are living their dream on a sailing boat, but that they made it there against all odds.
They managed to deal with frustration, with the lack of money and the lack of comfort. No matter how big the setback in the beginning was, they kept their smile and humor.

happy#144 – dealing with fear

Fear seems to be one of the most limiting factors in life. As true love can be the most motivating one and is able to move mountains or tear them down fear can build them up.
The strange things about fear though is, that fear happens only in your head and mostly deals with the future. Can you even remember the last time that you were frightened here and now?
This happens only in situations that are really dangerous for you and it makes sense to run away or fight.
It is activating your fight or flight response. As a constant process in your head and in your body it may be even quite harmful.

As the thing that you are worrying about is in the future it can help to let the fearful idea go and focus on a positive outcome instead. At least a way to manage a way to take. responsibility for your action and take the decisions that serve you best.

happy#143 – sometimes sh*t happens

Last time I promised you a feedback about my time in Zanzibar and well… here we go. This has been a disturbing time for in May and I had my struggles to focus on the positive side of things.
Yet, what does it do any good to not not see things positive. It is as it is and the only thing truly matters, is the question of who to be in relation to that.

Therefor I decided to not go too much into detail. I did not unroll the details and the lies that happened but focused more on telling what happened when and where to give a rough idea about the situation.
I am not going publicly after someone. Sometimes things go wrong after all. The only thing that I am fighting for is driven by my sense of honesty. If we close the whole thing down, that is sad. If somebody else is taking over based on lies and then tries to generate an own income, with work he did not put in and money he did not invest himself, I feel betrayed.
Although letting go of stuff can be truly liberating, accepting dishonesty leads towards a society that I don’t feel comfortable to be a part of.

I strongly believe that each one has the right to be different. I want that right to be based on honesty and understanding. I think it is helpful to speak up against it publicly. No matter if  family, a group of friends, a business or a whole society is involved.

Don’t give room for betrayel and grief and fight for honesty, transparency, understanding and loving care!

happy#142 – who you are, when you lose control

It is easy to be the person you want to be when you are in control. When everything is going exactly the way it way planned, you might emotionally not be disturbed. But what happens when you lose control?
What happens when everything goes wrong. When things are not going as planned, when you are frightened, when you are terrified. How much of your higher self can you maintain when your emotions are going wild. Unfortunately I tested that in the last week, where I didn’t publish anything and I can tell you, I learned a lot.

happy#141 – discrimination

In Zanzibar I often face an enourmous discrimination. This discrimination is not as I expected it to be. I thought that it might be against colored people but it wasn‘t at least not from white against black people.
The main discrimination that I saw and experience on a daily matter is from man against women. Or against against different sexual orientation, although nobody dares to talk about that openly.
This brought to my mind that there is no real difference between  discrimations. All take some kind of outside characteristic that you would not be aware of, if you were blind or death and turn them in a form of justification for discrimination.

Although unaware to most of us, we were given a shortcut to our unconscious mind. To our autonomic nervous system, which runs everything important to our life without our conscious mind even recognizing it.
Our breath and our lungs are the only organ that we can consciously control. Since our breath directly influences our physiology, our state and our performance, you can do as well. Activate you sympathetic or your parasympathetic nervous system in a breath.

Quality vs. quantity. What do you prefer? More of what you don’t like anyway or just enough of exactly the right thing? You might not be able to influence the quantity of your life as each day has just 24 hours for everyone, but you can massively influence the quality of your life.
Quality is made in your head and it is only up to you what is going on in your head.

During my last trip to Zanzibar it became so obvious, that all the people surrounding me where not heading towards a positiv future for themselves and their families. The uneducation seemed to have become an even bigger problem and leaving me no option to work with local people from the village. I thought that I could  either complain or do something about it.

Sometimes stuff happens that we just don’t deserve. It is unfair that it happens to us (again) and we are looking for somebody to blame. Maybe that is only one part of the story. Maybe there is a good reason behind. One of the major principles in my coaching is to look for the present in anything that happens to you.
